A Cat Of Independence

BAM!
Screen cat! Ah....
Remembering Simba's first 4th!
Itty bitty kitten... before Snowee arrived!
He wanted to join the fireworks festivities, and those cool looking glow sticks looked fun to chase!
Super ninja kitty!
Happy 4th of July!

Fuzzy Wuzzy Snowee Owee

Here is my Valentine's Day gift for Snowee: A poem!

"Snowee Owee is a kitty.
Snowee Owee is itty bitty.
She is a fluffy flame point feline,
That steals my foodies all the time.
My sister Snowee sure can purr...
Her brother Simba very much loves her!"

Groovy, eh?

Our 2009 Goals

Snowee's New Year Goals:
1. Eat a can or pouch of cat food. (I never have! My brother and I have delicate stomachs. :P)
2. Make friends with a dog. (Difficult, but it'll help me build character. =)
3. Catch a non-flightless bird. (That's the hardest one!)

Simba's New Year Goals:
1. Obtain interest in catching birds. (I don't, really!)
2. Learn how to fly. (You know, to catch them birds when I get interested in them.)
3. Eat a whole salmon! (Fish are good. I like fish.)

Here is a picture of us in the first hours of the new year.

It's an illusion; Snowee looks like a larger cat than Simba. Simba is condensed and Snowee is diluted! MOL.

New Year Greetings

New Year's Eve.?! Already? We're so excited!
We will try to stay up all the way 'till midnight!
Maybe...
Zzzzzzzz....
Oh, did we just have a catnap?
Heehee, sorry.

A Catnip Christmas!

I hope you all had a happy holiday! I know I sure did.

When my humans opened their gifts, oh, the joy of festive mess that greeted us cats! (Festive mess = tinsel & gift wrap & ribbon = fun for cats, mess for our humans!) 'Twas really fun investigating all the clutter, because gift wrapping paper rocks! Simba and I swam in and sniffed the ocean of festive clutter.

And what do you know? There were gifts for us kitties!

I found a pretty pink flamingo toy among our lovely presents. And you know what? It smelled GOOOOOOD. Mwahahaha!!!!!! I had discovered catnip for the first time! (A new tidbit of cautionary information: Catnip can cause you to headbutt the ground.) Simba liked the catnip too. He had enjoyed the catnip scratching toy before we had even opened our gifts! Strong sniffer, Simba.

Waiting Up For Santa

I caught Snowee checking if Santa Claus came! Teehee.

I've been good though Santa!

Reindeer

I want to help pull Santa's sleigh. Why is it that only magical reindeer can fly and help Father Christmas deliver gifts to all the good boys and girls (and cats)? They get to help deliver joy every year. Cats should be able to pull the sleigh too!

"Now Dasher! Now Dancer! Now, Simba! Now, Prancer and Vixen! On, Comet! On, Cupid! On, Donner and Blitzen!"
Heehee.

My Christmas Lists

The holidays, a time to give and receive.

My dear humans, I would like to receive:
1. A whole salmon. (Smoked, if possible.)
2. Ten kilos of catnip. (What cat wouldn't want that?!)
3. No more hairballs. (No explanation nessecary.)
4. Expensive designer cat booties. (So I can dirty them in one trip to the box.)
5. A chicken pen. (Full of flightless chickens.)

My gift shopping list for my humans:
1. Presents in the box. (A gift they get year long!)
2. Purrs and headbutts. (My happiness is their happiness.)
3. Cuddles! (A great benefit of having humans!)

Holiday Time!

The smell of Christmas is in the air! (If you're wondering what that smells like, it smells like boxes of decorations from the garage.)

Tinsel is like a million tiny strings together, waiting for my sister and I to spread them around the house. How excited my humans must be!

My sister, Snowee, posing by our tiny tree.

I've heard about cats climbing Christmas trees around this time of year. My humans only have a tiny tree, so I have yet to experience the joy of toppling over a tree. I have heard my humans talk about getting a regular-sized tree this year! (They think I can't understand them! If I couldn't, would I be able to write a blog entry?) My hope to break a few ornaments is kindled! Hoorah!

Last year; My first Christmas.

Simba, lovin' the holiday season
